GREEN GODLESS 🦚 Smoked Jalapeño Verde Hot Sauce

Too sour - that's all I can taste. The jalapeno taste doesn't come through at all. I could be biased because I especially HATE sour hot sauces which is why I'm always on the lookout for good non-vinegar-y ones.

Started with the sampler pack and enjoyed all the flavours. We are re-ordering the Green Godless as it is the most popular right now. We will be getting more of the others soon.

I love the fresh and bright (but still smoky and complex) flavour of this sauce. Using it on eggs is a given, but I really love it on BBQ’d fish and seafood - shrimp, salmon, halibut…anything. It gives everything a delicious and herbaceous vibe.

Green Godless is the kind of sauce you debate putting on most things. "What if I put it on this? Or this?" This salsa-verde-esque sauce pairs best with Mexican flavours, but I think it would also suit many other types of food such as Middle Eastern, Indian (think samosas. mmmm...), Italian, or Ethiopian. And of course it pairs well with some spicy jalapeño cheesy eggs, which is what I've done in this picture. Though this sauce lacks heat, it packs a punch in flavour. And you can always spice it up with a hotter sauce if you so desire. Definitely up there with The Spice for most versatile sauce (at least out of the 6ix i've tried). I will definitely be ordering this again!!

My go-to for avocado toast; Avocado mashed with a generous spoon of Green Godless, a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of flaked salt. Simple fast delicious!

I have had 100s of bottles of hot sauce - Over 20 a year. Green Goddess is one of if not the best hot sauce I've had. I received it as a Christmas present and will 100% be ordering some more! Can't wait to try your other varieties.

Yum! I could drink this sauce! It’s been a beloved kick-up-anything sauce in our house. It literally improves anything you eat it with. We’ve gone through 4 bottles already this summer so…. If that tells you anything! It’s smoky, tangy, green deliciousness.

My make ahead dinner from Good Food would only be average without the addition of Smoke and Tears sauces. I’ve added sauces to the quinoa and black beans, tofu and roasted corn. I will add the honey mustard sauce to the greens that will provide the base of this dinner and, of course, Green Godless to the avocado and sour cream toppings..

Green Godless graces this Ground Beef Soft Taco. The cilantro nestles in and feels right at home!

Green Godless is my personal favorite sauce. We use this little treasure on literally everything from grilled tofu to corn on the cob. Super delicious on roasted potatoes and the best addition to my morning avocado toast. It’s brilliant!

Green Godless is the meal companion I never knew I needed. True love at first taste. Smokey, herby, earthy, citrusy, spicy, bright, bold...it makes everything better. It's never not on the dinner table! The perfect base for salad dressings and has inspired so many dishes. It's been mixed into guacamole, stirred into chilis, and has found its way into the mix of homemade tortilla dough. Thank you, Smoke & Tears, for making cooking at home exciting again.

This sauce is everything! A serious favourite in my household. Has been repurchased multiple times and will continue to! Use it in cooking and topping for the perfect balance of flavour and spice!

Basically we melted a slice of pizza mozzarella. Rolled a slice of bacon but not before adding a generous drizzle of the Green Godless Verde sauce. Keto for sure! It needs a name.

As a non-hot sauce lover, this was the perfect introduction into the world of hot sauces. It has the perfect little kick, pairs well with an array of meals (meat + veg included!) and well, the bottle design is pretty badass. It's now a staple in our fridge!
